Concert at St. Spiridon: “The Life of the Mother of God”

A walk through the life of the Theotokos as told by the Marian hymns of the Orthodox Church, featuring ancient Slavic chants and more recent compositions by the likes of Rachmaninoff, Archm. Matfei (Mormyl), Trubachëv, and Konstantinov, and sung by a Pan-Orthodox choir of singers from St. Spiridon’s Cathedral, St. Nicholas’ Cathedral, St. Herman’s Orthodox Church, and St. Paul’s Orthodox Church.

There will be open seating and patrons are asked to give a suggested donation of $10 for the benefit of Orthodox theological education in North America. Please feel free to earmark a particular seminary.

A light reception will be offered after the concert in the parish hall.
